FFEL is a private community of members that are involved in farming and land management in the county of East Lothian. It has been created through the Farm Cluster Connections project led by Propagate supported by the Scottish Government Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund.
It enables farmers and land managers to explore options around regenerative and nature friendly farming that are being encouraged by Scottish Government through gradual changes to their national agriculture policies. It is also seeking to promote farmer-to-farmer communication to create efficiencies, enable farm clusters to develop and support access to agri-environment funding.
FFEL is led by local East Lothian charity Balanced Horizon and supported by the East Lothian Climate Hub. We will be organising a series of events over 2026-27 bringing the experience of leading specialists in relevant fields. We will also maintain this platform alongside a WhatsApp community to support improved local communication.
