Why Paying Your Card Twice a Month Boosts Your Score Faster
Most people only pay their credit card bill once, on the due date .But here’s a game-changer if you’re trying to raise your score fast.
Why it works:
Your credit utilization (the % of your limit you use) is reported to the bureaus before your due date. So even if you pay it off on time, your balance might look high when it’s reported.
The trick:
i. Make one payment halfway through the billing cycle.
ii. Then pay again right before your statement closes.
That way, your utilization looks super low and your score can jump within weeks.
