I made this reel with a very advanced marketing strategy called… doing something a little ridiculous with friends and hitting record. 😄
💎 please note that the important part of this is that you replicate the post and then copy the link in the comments. Then we can send you interaction by commenting and liking your post and you do the same to the other others who share their link below. This is how we can all gain a lot of traction and interaction!!💎
But, Seriously this is all it took. I had some friends film me doing something silly. I felt silly while doing it. Then I watched it back and thought, “Hmm… not sure this is giving cinematic masterpiece.”
But that’s the point.
Too many people never post because they are obsessing over whether it looks perfect. Meanwhile, the content that often performs best is the content that feels different, human, and interesting.
This is called a pattern interrupt.
The video itself becomes the hook because it stands out. It makes people pause mid-scroll and pay attention.
Then in the caption, I kept it simple. I gave a mindset tip that could genuinely help my audience do something they desire. Just value. No call to action.
And that matters too.
I do not recommend always asking people to click, buy, join, message, comment, download, donate a kidney… you get it. Sometimes serve because you care. Sometimes give because trust is built when people know you are not always trying to “get” something.
I also used a trending sound, but here’s the fun part: you could hear my friends and me laughing in the background. I liked that real moment, so I lowered the trending audio enough to keep the laughter in.
That’s a great trick when you want music energy but still want people to hear your voice, your environment, or natural moments in the clip.
So if you’re overthinking content today, here’s your reminder:
Different beats perfect.
Real beats polished.
Posted beats sitting in drafts forever. ✨
Examples for Functional Medicine:
• You dancing in the kitchen while text says: “3 reasons your bloating is not just about food.”
• You walking outside in scrubs while text says: “Why your fatigue labs can look ‘normal’ and you still feel exhausted.”
• You laughing with coffee in hand while text says: “The hidden stress pattern keeping women stuck in weight gain.”
• You doing something unexpected while text says: “What I’d check first in recurring migraines.”
See the formula?
Interesting visual + valuable message.
Then in the caption, teach something helpful. Answer a question. Shift a belief. Share a quick win. Build trust.
