Latest DIY Series Video
In this video, I’ll show you how I used SolidWorks, a 3D printer, and some basic DIY skills to clean up my home-network setup in my garage.
The goal was simple: make the area neater, reduce cable clutter, and retain access to power points and equipment when needed.
🏫 What you’ll see through the video
🔹 assessing the existing mess of components
🔹 setting up a rough SolidWorks layout using a sketch and reference images
🔹 using decals to quickly approximate port/LED positions
🔹 printing prototypes to check fit before committing to a bigger print
🔹 iterating the mounting approach
🔹 final prints, cleanup, install, and the end result
This is practical, “get it done” modelling — not a perfection exercise.
