New Series, beginning LIVE tomorrow
Hi All, There's been a few new members joining recently, nice to see the numbers slowly growing. For those that don't know, I host a live stream on YouTube every fortnight, with the next one coming up tomorrow. I'll be starting a new LEGO build with something a little different than Technic. If you can't catch it live, the replay will always be available on YouTube as well. During the session it's open Q&A and I'm happy to help with any problems you may be having in SolidWorks. Feel free to leave any questions below

Learn Assemblies with the LEGO Motorcycle
Hi all, I've just finished splitting and posting the LEGO Motorcycle Assembly masterclass into a series of lessons to step through one at a time. The video content has been broken up, and each lesson description includes what you can expect to learn from participating. If you want to learn more about SolidWorks Assemblies, with ready-made files to use, this is the place. It was a fun assembly to complete, and reviewing it again now reminds me how fun it can be to build. I'll be picking up the next LEGO challenge in the 2nd half of the year! If you have suggestions, let me know. Hope you enjoy!

@Edward Zacharia Perhaps I'll take a look at motion studies or animations sometime in the future. I think they're nice to have, but better tools (particularly for animation) exist in other software. I've almost never used motion studies and always found animations in SolidWorks challenging.
How to use sketches for CAD layout
Hope everyone has been doing well! I've been a bit quiet but had a good live stream this week where I demonstrated how you can use simple sketch geometry to layout your design. Check out the video below. Still a bit of work to do to finish my medicine storage, perhaps that will be in the next stream. As always, I'd love to answer your questions or model issues. If you need help with something, let me know! Have a great week

Reverse engineering complex surface
Hi Chris! I have seen the notifications for the next Livestream Design + Q&A on 16th April! Currently I faced a challenge reverse engineering this part in Solidworks especially capturing those curved geometry accurately! Can you talk about this on your next livestream :)

@Edward Zacharia can you tell me some dimensions for the part? how big is the large hole? what is the dimension center to center for the screw bosses?

Sorry @Edward Zacharia I've had to cancel my livestream tonight as I need to rest my voice. But I still plan on making a tutorial showing how to use your example. If I finish it tonight I'll post it here
