Why "more training" isn't the answer to getting clients
I have been REALLY into Holotropic Breath-work lately...
That's the original modality, the one mine is based off of.
Pattie took me through a session last week and it changed my life!
So much so that I have been looking into becoming certified.
That is until I saw how much it costs! (about 25K)
and... takes about 3 years!
But here's what really surprised me in my research...
How many people who went through this expensive, and I'm sure, amazing program...
but STILL work 9-5 jobs they can't stand.
That is exactly why Aaron and I started Full Time Purpose...
Because it's not just with the breath-work folks...
it's also with the coaches, healers, psychics, mediums, hypnotherapists, bodyworkers, astrologers, artists.
We have run into countless people with multiple certifications
and yet, ZERO clients.
Doesn't seem fair does it?
And it's not because there aren't loads of people out there who want what you have...
In fact that number is growing by the day!
It's because these programs do not teach 2 essential things...
Sales and marketing.
Without both of those you can possess the skills of Carl Jung and still struggle to keep the lights on in your home.
And I understand, these 2 things aren't nearly as fun to learn about!
I would much rather read another breath-work course book than learn sales and marketing.
And yet without those 2 very things...
all that value and transformative potential
remains hidden from the world.
This was my exact story 12 years ago...
I was a very accomplished fitness trainer...
with a beautiful facility...
and only a few clients.
And it was only when I opened up my mind and explored sales and marketing did things change.
But boy, once those 2 things were in place, things really shifted!
I was able to fill my entire roster to the point where I had to hire a manager and other trainer in less than 30 days.
Marketing, in a nutshell is getting the word out... and telling the world...
You exist...
You can help people solve a problem.
and... you're open for business :)
Sales is helping people who would benefit from your services understand the value and how it can help them improve their lives.
Remember, you're not selling vape pens to teenagers
You are selling a transformation to people who are in desperate need.
You are selling awareness, empowerment, guidance...
Nothing to feel guilty about there!
I will leave you with a question...
Where do you think you could be in ONE year from now...
