The Mirror Question: The Discounted Craving
You are brilliant at making yourself easier to accommodate.
You look at the menu of your life, spot exactly what you want, and then order the cheapest thing because you don't want to inconvenience the kitchen.
This pattern of minimizing your hunger is keeping you locked in a reality that feels lukewarm and uninspiring.
Examine the goals and desires you currently have mapped out for this year.
Answer for yourself:
Where are you negotiating with your own desires to make your life seem more "realistic"
What is the thing you actually want, and what is the lesser substitute you are currently telling yourself to be happy with?
Confess the compromise below.
To accept a crumb is to tell the universe you are no longer hungry for the feast.
To take this practice a bit further:
What would the highest version of you do today… just for fun?
Then actually do it.
Not the big things. The small ones.
Order the drink you would order.
Walk the route you would walk.
Speak the way you would speak.
Be that version of you NOW!
That’s spiritual development in motion.
