The Sensory Check-In: The Taste of Truth
Intuition literally lives in the gut. The enteric nervous system is your second brain. Today, we are going to feed that system with deep intention and focus. We move so fast that we consume our meals without ever actually tasting them. That speed creates a disconnect between the mind and the body. Your assignment is to eat one meal or drink one beverage today in absolute silence. No screens. No scrolling. No reading a book. Bring your entire conscious awareness to the texture, the temperature, and the flavor of what you are consuming. Listen to how your body responds when it is fully witnessed and nourished. What did you savor today? Savoring is the highest form of presence.

I have been trying to do this for a few days. I have been using tea. My favorite brand is Plum Deluxe. They make dessert teas and wildly good herbals. When you sit with it and fully immerse in the smell and taste there are so many swirling flavors. 💕

@Yvette Bryant rushing through meals became my go to in early motherhood is the only way I was able to have a warm meal when my kids were little. Your comment really resonates. I’m still transitioning out of the deeper place in motherhood where service to my kids takes up so much. I hope your steak and egg were incredible! 💕
The Sensory Check- In: The Prerequisite
Pleasure is not a reward you earn after you have finished all your work. It is the absolute prerequisite for magnetism. A body that is starved of pleasure is a body in survival mode, and survival mode repels wealth. Today, we are going to actively lower your cortisol and remind your cells what safety feels like. Your assignment is to give your body one entirely uncompromised tactile experience today. This could be taking a hot shower where you refuse to rush the process. It could be wrapping yourself in a heavy, silk robe or applying a luxurious oil to your skin with deliberate, slow movements. Make the sensory input the only focus of that moment. Share with us which tactile luxury did you chose for your vessel today? Deprivation is not a virtue. It is an energetic block.

Networking: What's your Genius?
I am constantly in awe of the sheer brilliance inside this community. And I often recommend the services I enjoy to others. I love connecting people. We talk so much about what it takes to build a strong foundation for our brilliant expressions and to cultivate what we require in our immediate environment, but the true magic of The Frequency House lies in the caliber of the people sitting right here with you in this space. It is incredibly rare to find a space where you don't have to shrink, where you can simply show up in your full capacity and be entirely understood and accepted by your peers. I want us to take a moment today to really connect and celebrate the incredible gifts we all carry. My intent is to create a designated thread where we can simply share what we do best. I want to know all about your unique genius. This is not about dropping a formal resume or a rigid job title. I want you to head into the comments and tell us about the thing you do that feels absolutely effortless to you. Tell us about the work, the art, the skill, or the perspective that makes you light up. Share what you are currently building, what you are deeply passionate about, and the specific way you naturally add value to the world around you. Then, I want you to tell us exactly who you are looking to call into your space right now. What kind of connections, collaborations, or aligned friendships are you currently looking to attract? Take a little time to read through the responses and intentionally connect with someone whose energy resonates with yours. We are curating a beautiful, highly resourced network of minds here. Let us witness the immense talent in this space.

I’ve been thinking on this a lot. I have been told I’m not humble because I do talk about things I’m good at. My greatest abilities are curiosity and willingness to work hard. Those two things have expanded my life in so many categories. I homeschool my children (their future is my number one priority), I own a business, it is a rental venue. I purchased my building to be so much, it functions as a rental venue for the community to use, I personally use it to host community events (art and music shows, community potlucks, game nights ect) A true third space. I also use my connections through that space to rent mens formal wear. Providing a more affordable option to the community because rarely is anything less expensive in a small community. I am also the president of our local Arts and Humanities Council. Art isn’t a high priority in this area and there is a gap so we aim to fill it with classes, fun events like paint and sips, community projects ect. I am also my family manager and though my careful tending of my home and finances my husband is able to pursue his hobby of creating and running a local low power radio station. These are things I have built from the ground up. My business was born from a 100 year old stripped building. We sourced materials to renovate by upcycling and sweat equity. Things like we tore down a barn to get materials, helped deconstruction projects for other needed materials, found our paint in clearance areas. Ultimately I wont be humble because I have worked hard to achieve my goals. I have put in time and sweat. Long hours and I love what I have built and grown. I have had to pivot a lot to adapt to changing circumstances. I am always a little bit on the outside of the group here. It’s hard to explain this town to people but essentially the town is full of people who’s great grandparents built the tables and their descendants arent keep on making bigger tables or adding any chairs. What I have been doing in my time here, making my own table, from scratch, for other people who aren’t invited to the established ones and I am damn proud of it. What I do best, is listen with curiosity, and do something with what I have learned. 💕
"Bad & Bougie" Confessions
Let's completely change how we look at being called high maintenance. The truth is, our lives are simply responding to exactly what we tolerate. When we politely accept the bare minimum to keep everyone else comfortable, we end up carrying a heavy, exhausting burden that drains our energy. It's time to drop that entirely. Today, I want us to celebrate the absolute luxury of just saying no without apologizing. Our standards are sacred, and we need to treat them that way. I want you to drop a moment in this thread where you finally held a firm boundary and completely refused to settle for less than you deserve. Tell us about a time you walked away from a situation that undervalued you, politely declined an invitation that you knew would drain your energy, or required a much better, more aligned connection from someone in your life. We really have to stop negotiating our worth and our pleasure. We deserve to step back, relax, and let the room adjust to our expectations instead of the other way around. Share your beautifully unapologetic standard below, so we can celebrate you choosing yourself.

I don’t get called high maintenance but I often get told my standards are unreasonable. I have just been simply replying, “I do them so they aren’t unreasonable and is my high drive more than you are capable of?” One the has been weighing heavy lately is holding a boundary with my mom. The expectation is as a 40 something year old woman I will not be taking parenting advice from someone I know was not a good parent. I’m breaking those cycles and that means that I will not be bullied into anything. I addressed her concerns, explained how the situation was handled and when that wasn’t enough I laid down the boundary of “if you can’t respect that I will listen to you but parent my way, you wont be given information about our life.” It didnt go well but I am holding to that. I work hard on raising healthy, happy, intelligent children and I will not lower those standards.
Expanding your Inner Vision
I want to share a practice with you that completely changed how I connect with my vision. I know so many of us sit down to visualize what we want, and instantly our brains treat it like another thing we have to do. You close your eyes, clench your jaw, and try to force yourself to see the life you desire. But when you are spending all day managing logistics and holding everything together, asking your tired mind to suddenly build a beautiful, rich world from scratch is exhausting. I completely understand why it feels so hard, because I used to do the exact same thing. I had to find a way to make it easy, and I want to give you the exact trick I use because it actually works. When I want to expand my imagination for my visualization exercises from the ACCELERATE program, I turn on fantasy and romance audiobooks. Where I was once using them to relax and understand some ideals, I use them as a playground for my mind. Let me explain. When you listen to a really incredible narrator describe a gorgeous, magical new world or a deeply captivating romance, you get to just rest. You don't have to build the scenery or figure out the details. You simply lie back and let the story construct the beauty around you. It gives your mind permission to experience pleasure, luxury, and safety without you having to orchestrate a single thing. By consistently listening to these vivid stories, you are literally stretching your ability to imagine bigger things. You are teaching your body how to relax and accept a beautiful reality. Once your mind remembers how to hold that kind of grand vision without stressing out, picturing your own affluent life becomes completely effortless. Try this for yourself with this intent. Pick an audiobook with an incredible storyline and beautiful descriptions. Get comfortable, put your headphones on, and just let the words wash over you. It is the easiest way to remind your body what it feels like to be completely taken care of and deeply safe. Share in the comments if you have some favorites that'll activate this intent. I'll share some too.

This is so on point! I love this concept. It has been a while since I listened to a fictional audiobook. I am going to hit up hoopla and audible!
