I watched a Christmas service and the performance of a Christmas musical play called Pearl of Great Price.. it's Jesus, right? I figured. And then I found myself swept up in emotion as the story wove a tale of a sailor who sought his fortune on the sea, and found, first, the pearl of great price was his life when he almost lost it. When he came back to his family home after many years, humbled and having failed in his search for fortune, he found his father had passed, leaving him a letter. The father wrote before dying that his son was the father's pearl of great price, and the father had spent his life fishing in the sea lanes hoping to find him. And I understood Jesus' words so much better, and God's love, more than I ever had... We are the pearl of great price. God paid everything to have us. And we diminish what He paid - the Son - if we cannot learn to value not only what He created, but then paid everything for: YOU ❤️ You are so LOVED this Christmas!! ✨️

What is your vision for 2026? I am creating a vision for the new year around my core values. Dr. John Demartini has a fascinating process for aligning your life with your core values – often times, we don’t have a clue and it is the dissonance between our core values and conflicting life demands that create issues in our life. One way of determining your core values is to ask yourself some questions and find the top answers from each question as pointing to a value of yours. Then you align your life to match your values. → What is closest to you in your environment? What is closest to you in the 4x4 space of your bedroom? → What do you spend your money on? The merciful shall find mercy. Matt 5:7 We judge by the law. We decide what people deserve and what they don't. God looks on us through grace. He grieves in our suffering. He wants us whole. Believing in God as a good God is bravery whenthe world paints Him as so small. Faith is an act of courage. Jesus Heals on the Sabbath 3 Another time Jesus went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. 2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.” 4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent. 5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

Matt 5:6 Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness and be Filled Make the list of those you've hurt and who have hurt you in this step. We are stepping into Jesus' righteousness today. Today is Pajama/Sweats Day!
