Morning Routine!

As we take this journey together, it’s important that you establish a morning ritual or routine. It will take dedication and practice to make changes, but we are all here to support each other! So let’s chat about how we start our day! My morning ritual has developed over the years. I wasn’t always a “morning person”. Long before I started my full time work in health & fitness, I was getting up early (5am) I started as a new mom, staying up after Max’s 4am feeding. I would put him back to sleep and then I found myself laying in bed angry I wasn’t asleep. What a horrible mindset to start my day! So, I started to cultivate feeling grateful not only for the perfect human I was so blessed to be raising, but the quiet time that followed putting him back to sleep. This is when I started using this time for reading, prayer journaling and meditation. And then I discovered the book The Artist’s Way & Morning Pages. This book helped me cultivate further what I started doing on my own. It is truly the best way to start your day!🙏🏻

5am Rise & say Thank You!
  • get the little beasts settled with breakfast
  • Hot tea followed by coffee
  • Read (usually something spiritual in nature) Current book is Neville Goddard Deluxe Addition (all 14 of his books in one volume)
  • Morning Pages (Prayer Journal)
  • 15 minutes of movement
  • Teach 7am Reformer
  • If I wake hungry & I’m still hungry after tea & coffee I will have 1/2 One Protein Bar
