🏡 Today's Lesson Recap: Determining the Best Loan for You
Now that we’ve gone through the different loan options, let’s take a moment to reflect and share: 1️⃣ Which loan options seem realistic or appealing to you? 2️⃣ What is your current credit score and savings amount? 3️⃣ What do you need to prepare to get pre-approved? Drop your thoughts in the comments! Sharing your goals and current situation helps you stay accountable and also lets others in the community learn from your experience. 🙌 💡 Tip: Don’t worry about “perfect” numbers — this is about understanding where you are and what steps you can take next.

What You Qualify For vs What You Can Actually Afford
I just uploaded a lesson on how what you qualify for isn’t always what you should buy. Your lender might approve you for a certain amount, but that doesn’t mean that number fits your budget, lifestyle, or peace of mind. Now it’s time to do the work 💪🏾 Assignment: 1. Go through the budget Tracker included in the lesson plan. 2. Write down : 🏠 The max amount you qualify for 💰 The amount you can comfortably afford each month (after factoring in your real life — groceries, kids, fun, tithes, etc.) 3. Comment below 👇🏾 and share one thing that surprised you about the difference between the two. Remember — buying a home isn’t about how much you can spend, it’s about how much you can live well with. ✨

7-Day $$ Tracker Challenge!
Family! It’s time to take control of our money ✨ In reference to the Budgeting lesson I just uploaded in the Financing 101 module, I've decided to create this challenge. For the next 7 days, I’m challenging YOU to track every single dollar that leaves your hands (yes, every coffee, Door Dash, or Amazon order 👀). Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ For one week, write down or log every purchase. Big or small (it all counts). 2️⃣ At the end of the week, total up what you spent and where it went. 3️⃣ Share your biggest discovery in this post or the comments below. Remember: awareness comes before improvement. Once you know where your money is going, you can start telling it where to go. You can use a notebook, spreadsheet, or an app like Mint or Rocket Money. Drop a 💸 in the comments if you’re joining the challenge! Let’s do this together and build a budget for your next home 🙌🏾

🏡 If you had to move tomorrow, what city would you move to? 🌆
After today's lesson on Zillow searches, head over to Zillow.com, set your budget and filters, and pick 3 homes you could actually see yourself living in. Then come back here and share: 1️⃣ Which one would be your top choice and why? 2️⃣ What’s the biggest trade-off you noticed (location vs. size, price vs. upgrades, etc.)? 3️⃣ After calculating the costs, would you still live in that neighborhood/city? 👀 This is exactly how real buyers practice decision-making before the big purchase, so treat it like your dream home search! 💬 Comment your answers below and let’s see who finds the BEST deal
