High Cable Chest Fly
Want that clean upper-chest line and deep inner-chest squeeze? The high cable chest fly is one of the best isolation moves to build shape, detail, and definition across the chest. Here’s what to focus on in today’s video: 💪 1. Set the Pulleys High Starting from above shoulder height forces the chest to work through a downward arc—perfect for targeting the upper and inner chest. 💪 2. Soft Bend in the Elbows Don’t lock your arms. Keep a slight bend to protect your joints and let your pecs handle the tension. 💪 3. Hug-the-Tree Motion Bring your hands together in a wide arc, like you’re wrapping your arms around a big tree. This keeps the movement smooth and your chest fully engaged. 💪 4. Stretch & Squeeze Feel that deep stretch at the bottom, then squeeze hard at the top. Control every inch of the rep—no rushing. 💪 5. Moderate Weight, Max Control High cable flys are all about technique. Lighter weight + slower tempo = bigger chest activation. 💡 Pro Tip: Cross your hands slightly at the bottom for an extra inner-chest contraction.
