Gaining wisdom with money is not hard, but...
It takes time, patients, discipline, and of course time in God's word. Dave Ramsey taught me this a long time ago and I'll share it with you here. He said something along the lines of, "Proverbs will give you financial education on the same level as a master's degree in finance." That seriously blew my mind and here's what he said: all you got to do. He said, "15 minutes a day, read a chapter a day because that's about how long it'll take and there are 31 chapters so it'll take a whole month." That, plain and simple. It just goes to show that gaining wisdom about money is not hard. Everyone has free access but it takes time, patience, and discipline to apply it, to learn about it, and to understand it. Which is also why I made the free 15-day series on how to become a wise manager with money, just five minutes every day. You can go over some wisdom from me based on proverbs and many other places in the Bible. I give you actionable steps on how to: - stick with a budget - create financial goals - find your priorities and so forth. For everyone who has not checked out the 15-day series, I really encourage you to start. It is the best free thing I can give you to learn about God's wisdom on money.

Where is your peace?
I was messaging a friend, he was struggling with mental and physical pain. What I gave him I thought applied here in our financial lifes as well. I shared Psalms 23. Saying that we should fear no evil, for he is with us. Psalm 23:4 KJV [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Many are struggling financially and have a hard time seeing a way out. But I'm here to say God will lead you to a good result. You just gotta trust the plan he is laying before you. Ps: that plan might be my 15 day series on how to become a wise manager. So I hope you will check it out.

The 5-step budget process
I know budgeting can seem hard and overwhelming, needing to keep up with every expense every time. But the truth is it's not that hard if you stick with it for just a little while. So here's what everyone should be doing with their money. Here's your step-by-step guide: Step 1: Write down your income. How much did you bring home last month? After taxes. That's your number. That's what you actually have to work with. Step 2: List your fixed expenses. Rent. Car payment. Insurance. Phone bill. These are the bills that are the same every month. Write them all down and add them up. Step 3: List your flexible expenses. Food. Gas. Eating out. Subscriptions. These change month to month. Use an average if you're not sure. Be honest with yourself here. Step 4: Give every dollar a name. Take your income. Subtract your expenses. Whatever is left needs a job. Savings. Debt payoff. Giving. Fun money. If a dollar has no name, it disappears. Every time. Step 5: Track it all month long. A budget you set and forget is not a budget. Check it every few days. Adjust it when life happens. Stay in control. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit." A budget is your plan. And God rewards the people who make one. The app I recommend for this is EveryDollar. It's free, simple, and built on zero-based budgeting, which is exactly the method I just mentioned. Start there: EveryDollar link P.S. Your first budget will not be perfect. Build it anyway. You can fix it next month. P.S.S. Was this helpful? ⤵️

Life teaches; what have you learned?
Life has a wonderful way of teaching us lessions, specifically what has you learned as it relates to your financial freedom lately? This is more of a wish than a lesson, I've been going to a church revival lately, I gotta say the house is on fire, people praising and shouting all over the house. The evangelist has an amazing message that's got me swaying back and forth. It's a wonderful experience. But here's the thing, I wish I could give more... 💵 I know it probably sounds bad, the financial coach can't afford to give as much as he wants to. Well I say it's a work in progress. I wish I could afford to pay for the whole week revival, I know I'll get to that point one day, but not today. Maybe the lession is to be patient. 🤔 What has life taught you about money lately?
