What booking platform are you currently using for your business? - โจ Acuity - โจ GlossGenius - โจ StyleSeat - โจ Booksy - โจ Square - โจ Vagaro - โจ Your Own Website Scheduler - โจIโm old school, manually scheduling clients What do you love about it and what you wish it did better. ๐กYour booking site is more than just a calendar, itโs part of your client experience and your brand. The right platform can help you: - โ
Collect deposits - โ
Reduce no-shows - โ
Keep client information organized - โ
Automate reminders - โ
Save time by letting clients book themselves - Not every platform is built the same, so itโs important to choose one that fits your workflow, not just whatโs popular: โ๏ธI use Acuity Scheduling The biggest reason I chose Acuity is because clients can upload photos when they book. Since I REQUIRE clients to send a photo of their hair and what they would like to have done prior to booking. THIS IS A MUST!! This feature is a deal breaker. It saves time and helps me prepare before my client ever walks through the door. I also like the personalization. You can customize quite a bit, and the pricing is reasonable for everything thatโs included. Now, is it my favorite? No. I think the backend could be organized much better. The layout is pretty basic, and while thatโs great if you donโt want anything complicated, I do wish it felt more modern. I also think they could do a better job with marketing features specifically for beauty professionals. Overall, itโs a solid platform that gets the job done and offers a lot of flexibility. But if I had a choice it would definitely be GlossGenius hands down! ๐It almost gives you the feel of having your own website without actually building one. The booking experience is beautiful, the service menu looks professional, and the overall branding is hard to beat. ๐The only reason I donโt currently use it is because clients canโt upload photos during the booking process. For my business, thatโs a deal-breaker. If you need inspiration photos, current hair photos, or consultation images, your clients have to send them separately by email, text, or another form, which creates an extra step.
