STOP Putting Others First! No, It Isn't Selfish...
I was on a mini rant today. Almost everyone I talk to says the same thing, "I'm just so _____(worn out, overweight, addicted to junk food, etc) because I'm running around like a crazy person putting everyone else first and negliecting myself."
That statement is a lie and deep down you know better, I hear it from nearly every single one of my clients before we start working together. I love you enough to tell you it's not true.
𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨.
I'm not being mean to you, this isn't a personal attack, it sounds maybe harsher in text, but don't worry, if I were there in person, I'd slap your ass and tell you the same thing🤣 any way like a Real friend, I literally tell my clients this all the time, "𝑱𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒖𝒏𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉𝒚, 𝒃𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒂𝒖𝒍𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝘀𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅, 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒂 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉."
STOP reading here if you don't care who Jesus is. 😆😇
And to anyone with a relationship with Christ, I'll dig even harder and say, 'And worst of all, you say you're serving Christ and you love Him, but you're 400 pounds and you can't even tie your shoe or get out of a car without being in terrible pain or needing help. God designed you to be a warrior and fight demons, you're supposed to look like a Spartan ready to fight to the death, instead you're arguing with the Starbucks barrista because they didn't have your favourite donut today. Do you really think you serve Christ well, when you cannot even put your own shoes on? What if He told you to get a backpack and carry it full of Bibles up a mountain to some unreached village people today? You'd fail. We are told to run our race well, and you can't even walk.'
Okay, rant over. I love you guys. Have a beautiful day, fam. 🙋‍♀️😘
