Ok…so some of you “younguns” probably done remember those days, but waaaaay back in the day, we didn’t have autosave. So many papers have been lost due to a PC crash. One particular day, I was working a 10 page research paper. I was in the groove! Kept forgetting to save the file. Then…BOOM! Blue screen! All that work gone! No matter how I rewrote it, it never felt like I could do as well as I had before. All that progress lost. If I’m honest, that mentality sweeps in for certain aspects of life. A “crash” happens, and I am forced to a decision. Do I restart, get back to it, or do I quit. I mean, that thing I was working on, was it really that important to me anyway?? That’s frequently how I feel about fitness. It’s been two weeks. I haven’t worked out. Many “crashes” piled up, and it felt momentous to start over. I mean…I lost all that progress, right? NO! Today I hit it! And praise God, I picked up right where I was running pace and strength wise! Take courage! You haven’t lost the momentum! It’s right there, waiting for you to pick it back up!
