For Newbies on LI
You may be hearing this in some of the sessions but just wanted to put it out there as I see sometimes people don't realize: 1.when you edit a post in LinkedIn it kind of kills it - If you don't have a lot of engagement on it you are better off deleting and then posting it fresh with what ever content you did want. 1. When you put a link in the post your post is less likely to show up in people's feeds - LI wants people to stay on the platform, not be directed away. You can simply say "Link in the comments" and put the link in there.
Who do you help, and how do you help them?
Tell me in the comments WHO YOU HELP and HOW YOU HELP THEM! This way, we all know how we can send you business. Thank you so much for sharing!

Help with LinkedIn analytics
I'm trying to gather analytics from LinkedIn on my posts from this past year. I can see them on LinkedIn, but is there a way to get them into a spreadsheet without having to go one by one manually? I seem to remember Joe showing something about this, but don't remember exactly when or where. Any help would be appreciated.
What is your cell?
Simple 4 word question that can change your life. Try it on 100 people this month and tell me how many send you their cell with zero context. You will be surprised. The reason why this works is because people will actually want to connect with you. And if they actually don't want to connect with you, you'll know it's time to disconnect, because they'll tell you, I'm not interested in talking to you. Imagine you were able to quickly dissect, who are the people that actually want to have a relationship with you And have a conversation who are the people that absolutely are not interested in ever getting on the phone with you? I like that.

LinLi (Lupei) Wang wanted a profile roast.. here it is..
This transcript provides a comprehensive "roast" of Lindley’s LinkedIn profile, focusing on branding, engagement hacks, and SEO. Here is a numbered summary with actionable topics to improve the profile. ## 1. Visual Branding & Identity The first impression of a profile relies heavily on clear, professional imagery and formal verification. - Fix the Background Banner: Replace the current blurry banner. Ensure all logos are uniform in size and height. - Add a Call to Action (CTA): Instead of vague text, include a clear email, website, or phone number directly on the banner. - Verify the Profile: Go to linkedin.com/verify to get the verification badge, which builds immediate trust. - Name Pronunciation: Use the LinkedIn mobile app to record your name pronunciation. This also allows you to add a 10-second "mini-pitch." ## 2. Profile Real Estate & Keywords LinkedIn provides specific fields that are often underutilized but highly searchable. - Custom Pronouns: Use the pronoun field for keywords instead of just gender (e.g., "Client Advisor" or a "hook" like "LinkedIn Expert"). - Headlines & Personal Touch: Move beyond just a "helping" statement. Include your official title, company name, and a personal detail (e.g., "Speaker," "Author," or "Single Dad") to foster human connection. - Link in Header: If you have a premium account, add a custom link and button text (e.g., "Book a Call") directly under your name. ## 3. Contact Info & Engagement Hacks Make it as easy as possible for people to reach out and find reasons to talk to you. - The "Birthday Hack": Add a birthday to your profile so connections get notified. The speaker suggests occasionally moving the date forward to trigger new notifications and re-engage your network. - Website/Landing Page: Ensure your contact info includes a specific landing page, not just an email address. ## 4. Content & Social Proof Your "About" and "Featured" sections should act as a sales funnel.
