Hey everyone!
We had a great, hands-on Office Hours session today! A big thank you to , , and for hopping on and working through some really specific LinkedIn strategy and technical questions. If you missed it, here is a quick look at what we covered.
🔥 Interesting Topics We Dove Into:
- The Right Way to Share Post Links: We troubleshooted an error with the Post URL Cleaner. It turns out, using the specific "Feed URL" is crucial so your shared posts look native to the platform. We also made sure everyone had the correct link for the cleaning tool inside their evyAI Bookmarks folder.
- Live Profile Optimization: We did a deep dive into June's profile. We worked on rewriting her "About" section to remove the "AI-sounding" robot language and make the hook more authentic. We also discussed fixing banner dimensions (hot tip: use Canva!) and the importance of filling out your Featured Section with an intro video and a Networking One-Sheet.
- The "Services" Section Hack: What do you do if LinkedIn doesn't list your specific service (like Dog Training)? We discovered a workaround: Select a broader category like "Coaching and Mentoring" or "Training," and then customize the description and title to be specific to your niche.
- The Strategy of Reciprocity: We talked about recommendations. If you want to get more recommendations on your profile, the best strategy is to start giving them to people you have worked with.
🤔 Some of the Great Questions We Explored:
- "I keep getting an error when trying to clean my post URL. What am I doing wrong?" (This led to finding the correct tool link!)
- "Is there a template I can send to people when asking for a recommendation?" (The best advice: Write a draft recommendation for them to make it easy!)
- "How do I trigger the comment box automatically without clicking?" (We reviewed the keyboard shortcuts: Option + G on Mac or Alt + G on Windows).
