How to message people on LinkedIn before you accept..
If you’re overwhelmed by pending connection requests or just want to build a higher-quality network, I found a strategy that changes the game.
Instead of just accepting or ignoring invites, try this: Control-Click the "Message" button.
I like to do this and send out a template from evyAI.com using a keyboard shortcut..
Here is why this works better than the standard "Accept":
  1. Vet before you connect: You can chat with the person before adding them to your network to see if they are a legitimate account or a potential lead.
  2. Unlimited Messaging: It opens a line of communication even if you are maxed out on connections (like the 29,000 pending invites mentioned in this video!).
  3. Instant Engagement: You can immediately invite them to your community, webinar, or newsletter rather than letting them sit in your "connections" list silently.
Don't just grow your number; grow your relationships.
Here is the template I used:
"Hosting a Linkedin posting party at 10am est the zoom link is highenergyzoom.com - Tuesday at 1pm est Im hosting a class on how to leverage Linkedin www.evyai.com/webinar - I host events often and the calendar is in our skool community www.skool.com/evyai - Let me know if you can attend any of these. Thanks for the connection request."
You can promote anything you want to these people who are ASKING YOU TO CONNECT WITH THEM!
Beacuse it is an inbound request, dont worry about inviting them to things or asking them to join your community..
