HOW TO USE YOUR LINKEDIN CONNECTIONS DASHBOARD: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
INTRODUCTION
If you're a client of evyAI AI Pro, you now have access to a powerful LinkedIn Connections Dashboard designed to help you organize, prioritize, and leverage your professional network. This tutorial will walk you through how to use this dashboard effectively.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR DASHBOARD STRUCTURE
The dashboard is organized with several key columns:
• First name
• Last name
• URL
• Email
• Company
• Position
• Connected on (date)
• AI Research
• Google Search
• Recognize
• Strategize
• Prioritize
STEP 1: RECOGNIZE YOUR CONNECTIONS
The first step is identifying which connections you actually recognize:
1. Review your list of connections in the dashboard
2. In column K (the "Recognize" column), write "yes" for people you recognize
3. Initially, just focus on going through all connections and marking yes/no based on recognition
STEP 2: FILTER YOUR CONNECTIONS
Once you've marked your connections, you can filter to focus on specific groups:
1. Select the entire dataset
2. Go to the Data menu and create a filter
3. You'll see filter icons appear next to each column in row 1
4. Click the filter icon in column K to show only the connections you've marked "yes"
5. You can also filter by connection year to make the process more manageable
• Clear all years first
• Select specific years (e.g., 2004-2006) to work with a smaller batch
STEP 3: RESEARCH YOUR CONNECTIONS
For connections you want to learn more about:
1. Use the AI Research column to get basic information
2. For deeper research, save the contact to evyAI AI:
• Open the evyAI AI side panel
• Use one of the five research agents available with evyAI AI Pro
• Access detailed information including target market, services, contact details, and more
STEP 4: TAKE NOTES
Document important information about your connections:
1. Copy relevant information from the research panel
2. Drag the information into the notes section
3. Click "Log Note" to save the information
STEP 5: STRATEGIZE YOUR NETWORK
Categorize your connections based on their value to your business:
1. Mark each recognized connection as:
• Prospect
• Center of influence
• Other strategic category
STEP 6: PRIORITIZE YOUR OUTREACH
Plan when to reach out to your strategic connections:
1. In the priority column, note when you want to contact each person:
• This month
• Next month
• Following month
2. Later, you can filter for the current month's priorities to focus your outreach efforts
STEP 7: MONITOR ENGAGEMENT
Track your connections' activity:
1. Check if they've been posting recently
2. Note when they last engaged on LinkedIn
3. Use this information to tailor your outreach approach
THE THREE-STEP PROCESS: RECOGNIZE, STRATEGIZE, PRIORITIZE
Remember these three key actions for managing your network:
• Recognize: Identify who you know (yes/no)
• Strategize: Categorize by relationship type (prospect, center of influence, etc.)
• Prioritize: Decide when to reach out (which month)
