I've identified 18 critical LinkedIn mistakes that are hurting professional brands. For content strategy, I warn against posting links in main text (put them in comments instead), confusing reposts with original content, overusing hashtags (stick to 2-3 relevant ones), neglecting personal profiles, and ignoring comments.

For content creation, I caution against sales-focused posts (provide value first), missing effective hooks at the beginning, having no call-to-action, and inconsistent posting. I recommend posting at least weekly, ideally daily.
