Overcome Evil With Good
We live in a day and time where getting people back is the right thing to do.
"They ain't gonna talk to me like that!"
"Give them a piece of your mind!"
"Be petty right back to them!"
And the list goes on.
Of course, the wisdom of the Bible offers us a better way.
We are NOT to repay evil for evil.
Children of God are told to overcome evil with by doing good.
We are to wish blessings on all, not a curse.
We extend the love and grace of good to everyone, including our enemies.
This doesn't mean that we accept mental, verbal, or physical abuse.
But it does mean that we are to overcome evil by doing good as much as we can.
When we overcome evil with God, we prove that God's love is on the earth.
