We can do nothing apart from God. Let us remain in God. This means that each day we grow in faith through God's Word and confessing that we are in need of a savior. The world seems to offer us anxiety, distractions, frustration, and temporary fixes that cannot replace the part of us that needs God. Let's lean on God, especially when we are weak, and look to Him who is the one that we find hope in.

Whatever work we do... All activities we do.... Whether we are on the job, on vacation, in all that we do, we can give God glory. We can do all things with excellence, with the right motives, and a peaceful heart. That doesn't mean only "godly" or "churchy" stuff, but it means ALL things. All the things that we put our hands to do should reflect the love of God.

This world is filled with darkness. Jesus is the light of the world. Only light can get rid of darkness. Let's seek that light daily. Jesus has come to give us abundant life. That abundant life starts when we seek out that light to remove the darkness in our lives. The light of Jesus comes with peace and joy that can come from nothing else. Each day is another opportunity to seek and trust in the light that Jesus provides.
