I've been in med-tech for nearly two decades - started as a neuromonitoring clinician in ORs, worked my way through sales, and eventually reached VP and CEO roles leading teams across multiple countries. What I love about this industry: The combination of cutting-edge technology, life-saving impact, and the relationships you build with surgeons and clinical teams. Every day you're literally helping improve patient outcomes. What I wish someone had told me starting out: The technical skills get you in the door, but relationship-building and understanding the clinical workflow is what makes you successful. Also, the industry rewards people who can think strategically about solutions, not just sell products.
