So… I did a thing 😅

Early this year, I competed in

Double Down Speaking Competition -- and somehow ended up winning with a story about my ex-boyfriend, a Milwaukee dive bar, and a duplex.

Yep. You read that right.

In 2012, I had zero clue what I was doing when it came to real estate. I didn’t know interest rates were at record lows, or that the market was at rock bottom... all I knew was that I ran into my ex at a bar one night, and his unsolicited advice convinced me to buy a duplex.

That random conversation changed the entire trajectory of my life. A few months after that encounter, I became a homeowner and landlord overnight -- and learned financial literacy the hard way (by “accidentally signing up for it”).

That one impulsive move became the start of everything I do now with Every Day Rockstars and Rockstarberst.
