Happy Birthday to Me! 🥳✨️

I've officially entered MJ version 4.0!

For those of you who only know the Skool version of me, here’s a fun throwback:

In my 20s thru my mid 30s, I was very politically involved. Like… “randomly ended up on Norwegian television during the 2020 election cycle” involved. (Yes, that really happened. No, I’m not dropping the link. 😂)

Back then, I was living in Minneapolis, but the running joke with my Wisconsin friends was:

“When MJ turns 40, she’s coming back home to run for Mayor of Milwaukee.”

Plot twist: I moved back early. Then politics made me want to yeet myself into a vat of battery acid.

I became completely disenfranchised.

…AND YET THE WORLD HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR.

Because here I am, stepping into my destiny at last:

Mayor of Milwaukee… for the Skool IRL Group. 🤝😆

Skool IRL, by the way, is basically Skool’s “in-the-wild” version -- different Skool communities and markets around the world host their own in-person meetups. Think: the offline side of an online tribe.
