Offline Mode ☁️
It's the event we just wrapped up for Greg Isenberg, an entrepreneur and creator that helps people get started in business and software.
There's a LOT to unpack from the event. The revenue model, the promotion strategy, the experience design. We'll be making a lot of content about this one.
What stood out to me though, is a word we picked up from Greg and his operator Jordan.
They said the primary reason they wanted to do an IRL event was for 1 simple outcome:
Affinity ⚡️
(a natural liking, attraction, or feeling of kinship with someone or something, stemming from shared qualities, interests, or origins)
They sought to build affinity with their audience. Gather audience members together in a house, chat about business and growth, and help them overcome obstacles.
It was a quest to build goodwill and relationships. That's it.
It wasn't about money. It wasn't about status. (those are cool, don't get me wrong).
It was about people.
Again, the deep-dives and analysis will be coming soon. The numbers, the metrics, the KPIs.
But i just wanted to share that as a preface.
Talk soon!
