What does it mean to WIN??
March Squat Challenge…..It Was Never Just About the Squats
We knew April and May would be packed with travel, so when our gym rolled out the March squat challenge, I was all in. It aligned with my sculpting goals, gave me something to push toward, and turned into a fun (and fiery) competition with Carlos.
Then one day… a girl passed my number.
And that was it.
Game. On.
I didn’t pout. I didn’t doubt.
I made a decision.
I was going to win.
And when I make up my mind?
It’s over.
Carlos gave me a run for it. The man doesn’t back down easy.
But I didn’t let the pain, the schedule, or the competition shake me.
I pushed through the soreness. I stayed consistent. I kept the fire lit.
Final day? We both did 500 squats.
Many of them weighted. (Don’t recommend.)
At one point, Hazel asked, “What do you win?”
I laughed, “Bragging rights.”
But let’s be real…
I win for me.
For the mindset.
For the example.
For the results.
And for the reminder that I can do hard things—and finish strong.
That’s what it takes in life:
Marriage. Business. Health. Legacy.
Decide. Show up. Don’t quit.
That’s how you win.
