English Coffee hour is happening in 3 days
🍵Coffee Hour #3
Today we had our third Saturday Coffee Hour, thanks for joining @Snjezana Sapina ! We had a lovely chat today - talked about the past week and plans for the weekend. We also dived into a book Snjezana is currently readingand talked about characters and the storyline. Are you reading a book at the moment? Perhaps you can come along to the next Saturday Coffee Hour and tell us about it! Enjoy the weekend!🤩☀️

👋Welcome Claire!
Welcome to Isabel's English Cafe @Claire Clairina Great that you stopped by! It’s lovely to have you here in the English Café ☕ This is a relaxed space for conversation, ideas, and building confidence through small, regular practice. Please feel free to introduce yourself and tell us a few things about you ! Since you work as a consultant, I’d be especially interested to hear: • What kind of projects you’re involved in • Whether you use English in your work • Or simply what made you curious to join 🙂 Feel free to explore, jump into any discussion, or join one of the Saturday Coffee Hours. It's easy going and conversational, small but friendly! 🤩🫖 And shout if you have any questions 😄

Coffee Hour #2 - Thanks for coming along!
Today was the 2nd Coffee Hour ! Thanks for coming along @Snjezana Sapina and @Monique Paruzel Today we chatted about the past week at work, plans for the weekend, the weather.... and fashion! 3 girls in a room - of course we talked about fashion! 😆 Useful phrases and vocab we practised: • exhausting vs exhausted The week was quite exhausting I feel exhausted • to be / feel lucky (different from happy) when you feel something great has happened to you, usually externally - “I was lucky to get a place on the course” (The places were limited.) - "You're lucky the train was late" (I didn't miss it) - "My friend invited me over for lunch, I feel so lucky" (I don't have to cook!) Next session: Next Saturday 28st Feb at 10.30am!
