Results from A/B test
Hi all,
I shared this on Twitter and thought you might like it.
Basically, I ran some split tests and discovered that:
  • More fields = fewer conversions.
Tons of marketers were pushing for more “personalized” emails.
So, I ran an A/B test to compare conversion rates.
I tested 2 signup form versions:
  • A. 1 field (email only)
  • B. 2 fields (name + email) Collecting ONLY an email
WINNER: A which resulted in ~136% more conversions. (enlarge pic to see stats)
