It was a rough night for blob runs. Everything was going phenomenal for my left had and down hill for my right hand until this happened. All the skin came loose from the lower half of my right thumb to the point I had to pull it back down and it led to this. This is definitely the largest patch of skin I've lost during a grip workout.
I was having a killer night for my left hand getting my 90 blob off the floor for a full range of emotion. It was becoming really clear something was wrong with my right hand when I couldn't even get my 85 blob off the ground. No matter what I did it felt like I wasn't even trying. Then it became clear when the skin was completely loose on over half my thumb. That felt like someone had degloved the bottom of my finger.
