Science Activity Ideas for Babies (Under 2s)
Most “science for kids” ideas online are written for preschoolers — and some are genuinely unsafe for babies. So I made a one-page guide for under 2s. Eight science concepts already hiding in your daily routine: cause and effect · gravity · properties of water · light and shadow · texture · sound and vibration · change of state · living and non-living. Each with the age it usually appears from. Three moves that matter more than the activity itself: 1. Follow their gaze — their interest comes before your plan 2. Name what they feel — “The water is cold. Splash!” 3. Allow repetition — the tenth repeat is where understanding lands Mapped to EYLF V2.0 and NQS, safety section What’s the most unexpected “experiment” you’ve watched a baby run this week? Mine involved a whole tissue box.

ECE English Helper – Free GPT Tool for Early Childhood Educators
I created this simple GPT to help early childhood educators who work in English-speaking environments. You can use it for everyday ECE communication such as messages to colleagues and families, observations, documentation, behaviour guidance, incident notes, and other workplace writing. How it works: - Write in your own language → it changes your message into natural, practical ECE English. - Write in English → it translates the meaning into your main language and also checks and corrects your English. You do not need to give any special instructions. Just type or paste your sentence. Link: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6a58119f338c8191b48d9fab02395a38-ece-english-helper-eggtree
