Bigger Circles vs Smaller Circles
Any movement —in this case, circles— when you want to perform it at a higher speed, can be achieved by reducing the size of the movement while increasing strength and control.
A bigger circle is usually done when the music is slower, since the range of motion is wider, as shown in the video. If you want to do it faster, the circle becomes smaller, more concentrated around your center axis, and requires more precise control of the movement.
