I drank a pine tree
I learned about the Virginia Pine, also called Possum Pine by locals. I didn’t know they existed.
I filtered water from a stream, jet boiled it, and steeped some foraged forest finds along with a sprig of the below featured tree.
Recipe: A few pine needles, blackberry leaves, violet leaves, and a bit of cleavers that found a sunny spot to inhabit.
