18yo - 258ng/dl Total T
Hello Everybody,
I found Dr. Ty a few weeks ago when he talked about his sons being on TRT since they were 16 years old. Their life before TRT sounds a lot like mine currently.
I am currently 18 years old, 270 lbs, 6 ft tall and my Total T is at 258 ng/dl, E2 at 48 pmol/l. I have been overweight my whole life but I was a very active child until I turned 15. Since then I don’t have any energy, stopped going out, only sit at home, hate human interactions and really fucked up my life. One day a week I feel like a king with unlimited potential and on the other days I have extreme mood swings and low energy. My mind wants to but my body and energy levels say no. I’m normally a very ambitious person.
I will start TRT with 150 mg next week and will work my way up to 2000ng/dl. I will do bloodwork to monitor my E2 and DHT and integrate an AI if necessary. I know my weight is a huge factor why my T is so low, but I can’t escape the hole I’m currently in. The German healthcare system doesn’t want to help me except by offering antidepressants, which I don’t need in my opinion.
Maybe someone here is in the same situation or was in a similar one and can give me some advice or share their journey. 😀
