Welcome to DreamChaser Lab - start here
Hey, I'm Szymon 👋 This Lab exists to help video editors bring AI into their workflow - practical tools and setups that work on real projects, not hype. How it works - New tools drop in Free Plugins: download, install guide, video walkthrough. - Found a bug or have an idea? Comment under the tool's post. - Missing a tool? Post it in Requests. The most-upvoted requests get built first. Your first 3 steps 1. Introduce yourself below: what you edit, which app you use, and a link to your work. 2. Grab the first plugin in Free Plugins (first drop coming soon - turn on notifications). 3. Tell me in Requests what slows you down the most. Rules - Be kind and helpful. No spam, no DMs selling services. - Self-promotion only in Show & Tell. - The tools are free for personal and client projects. Please don't re-upload or resell them - share the link to the Lab instead. Glad you're here. Let's build faster workflows together.
Save your best edits in Premiere and reuse them in any project (free beta)
You build a great transition, a lower-third stack or a sound-design hit… and two weeks later you rebuild it from scratch, because finding the old project takes longer. DejaCut is a small Premiere panel that keeps those edits ready to reuse: 🎬 Select clips on your timeline, click Save selection. Done, no dialogs. You get a card with a looping preview. 🎬 Place the playhead, click the card. The cut drops in as a Nest on free tracks above your edit, in any project. 🎬 Need to tweak it? Open its sequence, change it, Save changes. The library keeps the new version. 🎬 One library for all your projects: search, favourites, collections. 🎬 Export a pack: one .dejacut file with the media inside, ready to send to another editor. ⚠️ It's a beta. Back up important projects before you try it. INSTALL (Windows, Premiere Pro 2026) 1. Download the zip below and unzip it to a normal folder. 2. Close Premiere, double-click Install-DejaCut-BETA.cmd. It's an unsigned beta, so the installer asks to switch on Adobe's CEP debug mode (needed to load unsigned panels). Say yes to install. 3. Start Premiere, open a project, then Window → Extensions → DejaCut Beta. Dock it next to your timeline. GOOD TO KNOW • Tested on Premiere Pro 2026 26.5.2 (Windows): save, insert, edit, packs, reopening projects, install/update/uninstall. • Not tested yet: Mac, Premiere Beta, very large projects. • Renaming a card: click into the name field first, then type. • Packs carry your media, not fonts, third-party plugins or Dynamic Link comps. Free for personal and client projects. Please don't re-upload or resell it. Share the link to the Lab instead. What would you save first: a transition, a title stack or a sound-design hit? 👇

Hide every null in your comp with one click (free AE script)
Your timeline is full of nulls: camera controllers, position rigs, expression helpers. You need them, but you don't need to stare at them while you animate. NULL VIS is a tiny After Effects panel with one eye button: - Click it, and every null in the active comp is hidden. - Click again, and they're back exactly as they were. Nulls you had switched off yourself stay off. - Tick Shy, and the nulls also disappear from the timeline list. - Optional: include nested precomps (in the "…" menu). The state is stored inside the comp, so it survives saving and reopening the project. Undo and Redo work. 📦 INSTALL (Windows and Mac) 1. Download the zip below and unzip it somewhere permanent. 2. Quick try: File → Scripts → Run Script File… → src/NULL VIS.jsx 3. Dockable panel: copy NULL VIS.jsx into the ScriptUI Panels folder (Windows: Program Files/Adobe/Adobe After Effects <version>/Support Files/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels · Mac: Applications/Adobe After Effects <version>/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels), restart AE and open Window → NULL VIS. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW - Restore before you duplicate a comp that's currently hidden. - With Shy on, AE also hides other layers you had already marked Shy. - Tested on After Effects 2026 (Windows). Should work on AE 2022 and newer. On a Mac? Tell me if it works for you. Free for personal and client projects. Please don't re-upload or resell it. Share the link to the Lab instead. What would you add to it? Tell me in the comments 👇
Solo video tracks in Premiere, just like audio (free plugin)
Premiere gives audio tracks an S button. For video tracks you get… clicking eye icons one by one, and then trying to remember which ones were on. Video Solo adds a small panel with an S button for every video track: - Click S, and only that track is visible. Click more S buttons to solo several tracks. - Click Restore, and every track goes back to how it was, including tracks you had hidden on purpose. - Close the project or restart Premiere: Video Solo remembers the solo and Restore still works. - If tracks ever end up hidden with no saved state, one button shows them all. ⚠️ Solo affects your export. Hit Restore before you render. 📦 INSTALL (Premiere Pro 25.6 or newer, Windows and Mac) 1. Download the zip below and unzip it. 2. Close Premiere, double-click DreamChaser_Video-Solo_v0.2.0.ccx and follow the Creative Cloud prompts. 3. Open Premiere → Window → UXP Plugins → Video Solo. Dock it next to your timeline and make it a bit wider to see track names. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW - Tested on Premiere Pro 2026 (Windows): solo, restore, reopening the project, full Premiere restart. - Not tested yet: Mac, and Save As while solo is active. On a Mac? Let me know how it goes. Free for personal and client projects. Please don't re-upload or resell it. Share the link to the Lab instead. Which track do you solo most often: the interview, B-roll or graphics? 👇
