What has God been speaking to you lately?
This is my answer but I want to hear what God has been speaking to you lately...
I was talking to someone earlier and they were asking how this season of my life was going... (I just got back from visiting with multiple Pastors in Sao Paulo...)
And the advice they all gave me when I asked about being a New Pastor was... "LOVE"
So as i'm leaving this voice message to respond... all of could say was... God is teaching me how to LOVE...
Yes I can talk about cool testimonies of people having visions, the healings etc... but like Paul said... if we have all those gifts but don't have LOVE we are nothing!
I'm sure everyone reading this, has heard these sentiments before... but how often do we forget.
We get so busy... we want things done a certain way... we feel like we are owed a certain level of respect, buut Jesus said the most important thing is LOVE
God is LOVE... Jesus said... we will know his disciples by their LOVE.
If you want to be more like christ... then remember... The Greatest LOVE of all is for a man to lay down his life for a friend.
For God so LOVED the world that he gave... We cannot love without giving and God is asking for you to give your life... so someone else can live.
LOVE is not an emotion... LOVE is a choice to lay down your life... and its a daily choice.
