There are Seasons of Attack
So I knew this time last year and the year before that this was the season the enemy would really attack. I didn’t know the exact date the battle would start but I could feel it approaching. Looking back it’s interesting on December 1st I called a fast for the church and that was the same day the attack started, something very unfortunate happened on December 1st, yet it didn’t phase me.
The week long fast ended on December 7th but I enjoyed it so much I decided to extend my personal fast on December 9th.
On December 14th I was taken to the Hospital and December 19th I got out.
Why am I telling you this? There are seasons of testing and timeframes in the Spirit the enemy has. I talk about this in my book, “Following the Cloud”. Daniel prayed for 21 days and during that entire time there was a battle in the Heavens.
In the old testament people were put outside the camp for at least 7 days when they were unclean, a picture of sin.
Jesus was tested in the wilderness for 40 days. I believe the fight and battle I’m experiencing is a great one leading to promotion. I don’t believe the battle will last longer than 40 days.
Would you please keep me in prayer until January 10th? It’s interesting because I travel to the United States on January 16th to go and get refilled at a River Conference and it will be my first time there as a River Pastor. I will also visit my home church, The River Fort Myers. My birthday is on January 23rd.
