The Names of God
Did you know God will sometimes move and answer prayers, not because of you or your righteousness but because of His name?
“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.”
Ezekiel 36:22 KJV
“Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, That he might make his mighty power to be known.”
Psalm 106:8 KJV
There is a mystery in the Bible of the power of knowing a spirits name… many times during an encounter with both God, Angels and Demons one of the first questions would be… “What is your name?”
Names represent the essence of a being and when you know something’s name you not only have a greater understanding but there is an advantage and even an authority you have over it.
But God reveals His name on purpose… He wants you to call on and use His name.
What do you need from God- Provision, Healing, Victory in a Battle?
When you pray call God by His corresponding name.
1. YHWH (יהוה)
Meaning: “I AM WHO I AM” / The Self-Existent One

2. Yah (יָהּ)
Meaning: Short form of YHWH
