40 Day Dry Fast
“When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:”
Deuteronomy 9:9 KJV
Did anybody notice that Moses did a forty day dry fast 👀
There is a realm in fasting where you don’t decide to fast, God just removes your hunger. It’s pretty supernatural. It’s almost effortless because you don’t want to eat anyway.
🤔 I’m learning more and more this is how the Christian life was intended to be lived. Not by your own strength but through His Spirit.
If you’re asking, “but How? I’m always hungry” I would remind you of our last call. Prayer was never intended to be you talking to God. It’s supposed to be His Spirit speaking with Him. That can be in your Native language, Tongues, Tears, groaning or another form of prayer.
Evangelism is not me running up to everyone to tell them about Jesus, it’s me discerning who God is already touching and then simply reading the Harvest.
Finances, Relationships, your Career, whatever… Should work the same way. Not by striving but by resting in His Spirit will you find success.
There’s a better way.
