The Magic Word

This was learned during my morning study group so I wanted to share it here. When thinking of the “magic word,” my thoughts first turn to the word “please.”

While “please” is the magic word for children to get what they want from adults, “attitude” is considered the magic word for adults to get what they want from life.

Both operate on the law of reciprocity. If you use “please,” others are likely to respond with courtesy. Similarly, the world tends to reflect your “attitude” back to you; if you project optimism and helpfulness, you generally receive the same in return.
