Confidence Follows Action
Today's quote from the book:
“When you stop waiting to feel ready and start showing up anyway.”
Doing What You Know, Chapter 10, p. 168
Most people think confidence comes first.
But confidence is usually the result of action, not the requirement for it.
The first workout feels awkward.
The first video feels uncomfortable.
The first difficult conversation feels intimidating.
That’s normal.
Confidence grows when you repeatedly prove to yourself that you can move forward even when you feel uncertain.
You don’t build confidence by waiting.
