Day 2
A busy morning for Kairo, starting off with mantrailing then straight into a pet gundog class.
Kairo is super easy to trail with, and no new skills were introduced today, so no comments on this session.
During pet gundog class, Kairo’s stays were incredible. Literally couldn’t get her to break, even after climbing a tree and jumping out in front of her. She did some lovely blind retrieves too, and we started working on sending her backwards to an article.
Unfortunately, other dogs playing with a dummy (or any toy) sends Kairo way over threshold and she loses focus. Does anyone have any tips for overcoming this?
