We’ve been training with Rusty all week using the jolly ball he’s obsessed with it, which has made it easy to work on different skills.
We started practising “front” positions since we haven’t really done much of that before.
With Buddy, it’s been all about tug of war lately he absolutely loves it. We’re holding off on structured training until Alex’s course starts, but he’s definitely ready for it.
Suzy’s definitely in her teenage phase now. She’s a bit quieter during the day and not as yappy, which is nice 😅. She’s really starting to get the hang of walking nicely on lead. Her new favourite thing is chasing crows she even tried to bite some feathers she found, so we’ve been practising “leave it” in different scenarios. I’m actually surprised how quickly she picks things up she doesn’t need many reps to get it.
You can definitely see that stubborn streak in her, but I try to stay one step ahead and give her a clear option to choose the right behaviour, otherwise she’ll test the boundaries fast 😅. She’s obsessed with her flirt pole and has great food drive, which makes training *easier
