Day 141: A Swim in the Teign and Course Mania

I've had a nice day today, putting into practise some of the exercises from the horses inside out talk with Kashi and Tils and then had a lovely walk at Castle Drogo with my sister and all 3 dogs. It's a beautiful part of Dartmoor in the Teign valley. I felt like I was in Swindale and Ennerdale in the Lake District for lots of it. Really gorgeous wild flower meadows and wetland scrubby parts. It was muuugggyyyyyy as hell tho so glad we took swimmers and went for a dip in the Teign. All 5 dogs eventually came in to swim after much coaxing (not the labrador, unsurprisingly, nor the whippet - she is always straight in if I go in!!). Got some nice pics. Largely off lead and some barky barky at other dogs from Aster. It's never anything major but I've bought Alex' course so I'm really going to tackle this now with his approach to see if it can help us. I also somehow managed to get a free play course from Leerburg that was advertised as free for a limited time by Mark Keating. I've not started yet but I've had "Life is a Rollercoaster" stuck in my head since enrolling last night 😂i wanted to share the link on here for that but I can't seem to find it... I just had it advertised at me on YouTube. If anyone interested tho I can see if I can find it. I've also enrolled on

's scent adventures course so I'm going to be very busy now 😂

Did some indications with Aster before dinner and sent her to her bowl with a sendaway. She was a good gal.
