35 bidders. That's the number I can't get over.
The auction closed last night at $380 to and he's getting the whole custom stack built. But here's what I'm actually wild about: 35 of you showed up and jumped in. Some came for the bonus, some came to WIN, and the fact that we penny-warred at $37.74 vs $37.75 (shoutout and , still laughing) is exactly why this format works. Stuff I didn't expect:
• walking in at $100 out of nowhere and shifting the whole vibe • holding the lead, losing it, taking it back, losing it again, finally locking it in • finishing second by ONE DOLLAR. Brutal. • climbing to $375 and then getting yanked by an appointment before she could come back Auctions are honestly the best lead gen tool I've ever used. Better than giveaways. Better than cold outreach. Everybody who bids is pre-qualified and self-sells through the competition itself. That's why you're hearing "auction auction auction" from me.
Now here's the ask:
Ask me anything on auctions 👇
Thinking about running one in your business? Curious how to structure the prize stack? What would've happened if nobody bid (real question, I was sweating)? How to pick the non-winner prize? Whatever. drop it in the comments.
And for the bidders - 101 framework coming your way by Sunday as promised.
(Heads up: I'm not opening up the auction training to everyone right now. But if enough of you ping me on this, I might.)
