One of my gripes about Skool is that it doesn't have a website link in your bio. Incredible to me. Please can y'all put your website links in your bios so I can learn more about you? Alternatively, share them here. I'll go first: https://embodyart.com (my web and brand design business) https://colormaiden.com (chic custom rugs that sneakily feature your pet) https://ivegotaspreadsheetforthat.com (inexpensive spreadsheets that are life-changing) (pic is me on one of my rug designs)

Okay, wow. That was fun.
35 bidders. That's the number I can't get over. The auction closed last night at $380 to @Nicholas Early and he's getting the whole custom stack built. But here's what I'm actually wild about: 35 of you showed up and jumped in. Some came for the bonus, some came to WIN, and the fact that we penny-warred at $37.74 vs $37.75 (shoutout @Katie Colormaiden and @Dionisio Gomez , still laughing) is exactly why this format works. Stuff I didn't expect: • @Tony Teegarden walking in at $100 out of nowhere and shifting the whole vibe • @Nicholas Early holding the lead, losing it, taking it back, losing it again, finally locking it in • @Nick Bandy finishing second by ONE DOLLAR. Brutal. • @Tami Crea climbing to $375 and then getting yanked by an appointment before she could come back Auctions are honestly the best lead gen tool I've ever used. Better than giveaways. Better than cold outreach. Everybody who bids is pre-qualified and self-sells through the competition itself. That's why you're hearing "auction auction auction" from me. Now here's the ask: Ask me anything on auctions 👇 Thinking about running one in your business? Curious how to structure the prize stack? What would've happened if nobody bid (real question, I was sweating)? How to pick the non-winner prize? Whatever. drop it in the comments. And for the bidders - 101 framework coming your way by Sunday as promised. (Heads up: I'm not opening up the auction training to everyone right now. But if enough of you ping me on this, I might.)

How to Make AI Sound More Like You --
This might help you come up with genuinely "you"-sounding and feeling pieces. I love! working with both Chat GPT and Claude to refine (not create) projects. Here's something I'm clear about, having created a kit that's the most fun I've had in months. First off, these AI agents (agents?) DO have different "personalities." Even if you feed them identical info. So you may want to see what you prefer and you'll likely want one for some things and one for other things. Secondly, when I've used other people's prompts, which so many people are now offerings as freebies, Chat GPT "forgets" who I am and the voice is very different. That's intentional on the part of the creator but it's both good and bad. I could write much longer about this. In general, what I've found works for me is to start off using the other person's prompt if I want to and then to remind the AI who I am (because we have an extensive history now and "he" knows me much better than most people). If I stick with the other person's prompt, the responses start to strangely degrade and make me frustrated. When I go back into a thread of mine, it can then be amended with the best of both worlds. Pics are of my recent rug design kit created with Claude's help and with resources found with the help of Chat GPT. So much fun.

@Leandro Langeani, I find it incredible that this is all working the way it is. I'm gathering that many people are having these experiences but wow, it really feels like both ChatGPT and Claude are two people I know.
30 hand raisers. 4 leads. Then I went quiet.
I owe some of you an explanation. A few weeks ago I posted one question in this group. No pitch. No funnel. No "comment DMs below." Just a question about whether your DM conversations were actually going anywhere - or dying somewhere in the follow-up. 30 of you raised your hand. No DMs first. No ads. Nothing clever. Just a question - and 30 people raised their hands. That's something Travis taught me. And ever since, I see every conversation differently. So I started talking to some of you. You told me where you were stuck, why the DMs weren't landing. 4 of those conversations turned into real leads. People who were ready to move. ... And then I went quiet. I bit off more than I could chew. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. 30 people raised their hand and I left them hanging because I've got way too much on my hands, right now. Here's the thing, though. If you do what I did, you'll get people to raise their hand without chasing a single one. That part works. I'm living proof. If you do what Travis does, you'll never run out of people to talk to. And if you do what @Jason Fox does, you won't make my mistake. Because he's figured out how to make sure you never disappear on someone who was ready to move forward - even when life gets in the way. I owe you something. All 30 of you. And honestly, everyone else in this group too. Jason and I put something together. I'm not pitching it in this post. You'll see it in the next couple days. What I will say: it involves everyone. Not just the 30 who voted. And if your DMs aren't working the way you want them to, this is going to be worth your attention. If you've ever had a solid first conversation and then watched it go quiet drop a "ME" below. You'll want to see what's coming. Turn on notifications, and... Keep your eyes peeled!

ME -- but not really. I do well with DMs overall. I need more of the right people in the first place, who are: people who know their brand could deliver better for my branding / website work and people who are in a living place shift like moving, divorce, upleveling their home for my rugs that feature pets also. For my "I've Got a Spreadsheet for That" system, those are the easiest DMs and have just started. Sorry for the long response.
