"What if.."
That quote I sharpied on my coffee mug during my time as a teacher… and SubhanAllah, whenever someone returns to Allah, I’m reminded of that mug and how far Allah has brought me since then. الحمد لله
Within my extended family network, we have had three people return to Allah in the space of just three days SubhanAllah. A reminder of how quickly life can change, and how precious our time in the dunya truly is.
But with that comes a beautiful reality… as long as we are here, we still have the opportunity to act, to return, to improve, and to take the steps we’ve been delaying.
Whether it’s improving our ibadah, bettering our physical health, or a project we’ve been holding off on... the door is still open, the opportunity is still there. So grasp it with both hands.
A reminder to myself first and foremost to use the time you have in this dunya in a way that counts, so that when we return to Allah, there are no “what ifs”.
May Allah grant all those who have returned to Him mercy, take us when He is most pleased with us, and allow us to make the most of the time we’ve been given in this dunya.
Allahumma ameen
