I particularly like this author because of his depth to relate Runes and Odin to consciousness studies and psychology. His sections on Odin are great and yet his tone has something about it I’m not really 100 percent on. I’ll elaborate in session sometime. Again - don’t take any of these Rune Books as the “truth”. I referenced this book this week. It is by the far best historical book I've come across in my opinion because it encapsulates a larger picture of the people and practices of the Viking Age. By that I mean the inner landscape and cosmology we are exploring rather that simply archeological evidence (it's in there too) and interpretations of the myths and sagas. And the writing itself is exceptional.
