Do you incorporate fasting into your spiritual practice? This week, I’ve been fasting until 1 PM each day and dedicating more time to prayer in the mornings. I’ve been navigating a season of heaviness and confusion, and my intention is to quiet the noise around me, strengthen my spiritual discernment, and deepen my relationship with Jesus. For me, fasting isn’t just about abstaining from food. It’s about creating space for God, surrendering what I cannot control, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me toward greater peace, clarity, and understanding. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2 I’m learning that sometimes we need to step away from the distractions of the world to become more attentive to God’s presence in our lives. 🤍 Fasting can take many forms, whether it’s food, social media, or anything else that draws our attention away from what truly matters. ✨ Do you practice fasting? If so, how has it impacted your spiritual journey?
